The Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce

Back in 1924, local merchants in Kissimmee, Florida decided to form an organization dedicated to advocating for a better business environment and promoting a higher quality of life in Osceola County. Over the years, members of the Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce helped protect our proud heritage and nurture increasing opportunities for our residents. Today, the Chamber is as vibrant as ever and poised to help Osceola County raise the bar as a great place to work, live, and play!

The benefits of joining the Chamber of Commerce exceed that of just “doing the right thing” for the community. In a study conducted by The Schapiro Group, it was discovered that two-thirds of consumers believe that companies active in their local chamber of commerce use good business practices, are reputable, care about their customers, and are involved in the community. Specifically, consumers are 49% more likely to think favorably of, and 80% more likely to purchase goods or services in the future from, a company that is a chamber member. As a chamber member, it was reported that such companies enjoy a 73% increase in consumer awareness and a 68% increase in local reputation. Considering many law practices fall into the category of “small business,” this information should be quickly put to use.

Members of the Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce enjoy great value for their investment aside from the benefits mentioned above. The Chamber hosts many events that afford members the opportunity to showcase their companies and connect with fellow members and new markets. No matter where your work is conducted, one of our Area Councils provides you with additional networking opportunities and awareness of issues that may affect the business climate in your part of Osceola County. These councils include: Hispanic Business, Small Business, Osceola Resort Area, Downtown Kissimmee Area, Four Corners Area, Poinciana Area, Celebration Area, and Hunters Creek Business. Our Ambassadors program welcomes anybody interested in recognizing new members and representing the Chamber at ribbon-cuttings and other events. The Chamber’s Leads Groups exceeded $1 million in business last year and open spots are available. Joining a Leads Group allows you to take advantage of trading exclusive leads weekly. For those wishing to showcase your company to the world, our membership database (ChamberMaster) gives you the opportunity to better control how your business is presented to the world in the directory on our Chamber website.

At the macro level, the Chamber’s Growth Management Task Force examines development around the county so we can balance our rich heritage with the incredible opportunity at our doorstep. The new Young Professionals group offers additional ways to allow millennials in your business an opportunity to connect. The Chamber will continue to advocate for advancing the road system in the county and bringing SunRail to Osceola County. Most importantly, we will continue diversifying our economy with opportunities such as the International Consortium for Advanced Manufacturing and Research. Last, but not least, everyone is encouraged to utilize the services of the Small Business Development Center and the Hispanic Business Initiative Fund which are funded by Osceola County and the City of Kissimmee and housed in the Chamber building.

As you can see, Chamber membership offers you a chance to build your profile, strengthen your reputation, grow relationships and expand your business. The Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce welcomes you to become a partner in making a difference in Osceola County!
